Quoker is a game of knowledge, confidence, bluffing and strategy, where every decision can change the outcome.
How the Game Works
Each player starts the game with an equal stack of chips and a single Quoker Card. The game is played over a series of questions covering eight subject categories:
Science
History
Geography
Art & Literature
Sport
Music
Film, TV & Entertainment
General Knowledge
Each round begins with a subject being revealed before players decide how confident they feel. Players can:
- Check
- Raise the stakes
- Fold
- Or play their Quoker Card
If nobody commits with a Quoker Card, the question becomes multiple choice, giving everyone still in the hand another opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge. Correct answers win chips from the pot — but sometimes the biggest victories come from reading your opponents rather than simply knowing the answer.
The Quoker Card
Every player begins the game with one Quoker Card. Playing it is the biggest decision in the game. When you play your Quoker Card, you’re effectively telling everyone at the table:
“I know the answer.”
Whether you genuinely know it… or you’re bluffing… is entirely up to you. Playing your Quoker Card can lead to huge rewards — but if your confidence proves misplaced, it can also cost you dearly.
Modifier Cards
Throughout the game, players have opportunities to use powerful Modifier Cards. These can:
- Guarantee the correct answer
- Reduce multiple-choice options with a 50/50
- Provide a clue
- Move the Specialist Subject
- Place side bets on other players’ answers
Some cards improve your own chances of success. Others let you influence the fortunes of everyone around the table. Knowing when to use a Modifier Card can be just as important as knowing the answer itself.
Skill Meets Strategy
Quoker isn’t simply a quiz. It isn’t simply poker. Success comes from balancing four key skills: Knowledge · Confidence · Chip management · Reading your opponents.
Sometimes the safest decision is to fold. Sometimes it’s worth raising the stakes. And sometimes… you simply have to trust your instincts.
Winning the Game
The game ends when either one player has won all the chips, or all questions have been played. The player with the largest chip stack is crowned the Quoker Champion.
