What Players Say

Players aged 14 to 83, from Dover to Middlesbrough — here’s what they made of it.

So much fun. I’ve never played poker before but bringing in the betting element to a quiz just makes it really exciting. I’m totally hooked. I’ve always done a quiz as part of a team and was nervous about answering questions individually. I needn’t have worried, the game is structured to give everyone a fair shot at winning.

Quoker does a great job of blending poker mechanics with quiz questions, making poker far more accessible and appealing to casual players. The name is clever as well. The variety of outcomes and surprise changes in who was winning towards the end kept it interesting — not unlike normal poker, to be fair.

Alex, 35 · Hawarden

I rocked up because there was nothing to do the night before we went to the races in Chester. But I enjoyed it more than the races! Amazing game and so much fun.

Ed Jones, 51 · London

Brilliant game. I was a bit unsure to begin with because there was a lot to take on board, but after three or four hands it clicked and I loved it.

Derek, 83 · Middlesbrough

I’m a gamer and I’m 100% sure the gaming community are going to love this game. I’d like the board game please, in time for Christmas.

Lizzie, 59 · Dover

I enjoyed the game because it makes normal quizzing feel even more exciting, and the betting aspect is a really cool twist. It is also great for all ages — I was 14 and I very much enjoyed it.
